Introduction

UX Copywriting writes or reviews buttons, forms, error messages, empty states, confirmation dialogs, tooltips, loading states, and onboarding copy. It considers the screen, user task, emotional state, brand voice, and character limits so each line explains what happened and what the user can do next. The same concept keeps the same name across the product.

Use Cases

Use it for feature launches, signup and payment flows, settings, deletion warnings, permission prompts, or copy cleanup before localization. It can provide one recommended version plus alternatives for different tones. It is especially useful for replacing vague labels such as “Submit” or “OK” and for errors that currently offer no recovery path.

Template

Provide the screen or flow, screenshots, user goal, current copy, desired tone, character limits, and platform rules. Identify protected terminology and irreversible actions, then specify whether you need a recommended version, alternatives, a full-page review, or bilingual copy.
